1. La taxe de 50% de Trump sur l’Inde commence
Donald Trump a mis en place une taxe de 50% sur les produits indiens parce que l’Inde achète du pétrole et des armes russes. Avant cela, il avait déjà ajouté une taxe de 25%. Les nouvelles taxes ont commencé à minuit à Washington, et sont les plus hautes d’Asie. Les taxes touchent plus de 55% des produits envoyés aux États-Unis, le plus grand marché de l’Inde. Cela impacte surtout les industries comme le textile et la joaillerie. Beaucoup d’entreprises indiennes (surtout les exportateurs de vêtements, de chaussures et de petits produits comme les jouets), ont peur de perdre des commandes et des emplois.

Donald Trump put in place a 50% tariff on Indian products because India buys Russian oil and weapons. Before this, he had already added a 25% tariff. The new tariffs started at midnight in Washington, and they are the highest in Asia. They affect more than 55% of products sent to the United States, India’s biggest market. 2. SpaceX Starship réussit un vol d’essai
Mardi, SpaceX a réalisé son dixième vol d’essai de Starship. Deux tentatives précédentes ont été annulées à cause de problèmes techniques et du mauvais temps. La fusée a décollé du sud du Texas. Puis, dans l’espace, elle a déployé de faux satellites. Le retour dans l’atmosphère a été un succès, et elle a atterri dans l’océan Indien. SpaceX a décrit la mission comme une étape clé du programme d’Elon Musk pour envoyer des astronautes sur la Lune et plus tard sur Mars.

Then, in space, it deployed fake satellites. The return to the atmosphere was a success, and it landed in the Indian Ocean. SpaceX said the mission was an important step in Elon Musk’s programme to send astronauts to the Moon and later to Mars.
