Hi everyone, it’s Tara! I hope you’re doing well and that you’re having a good weekend. Today, we’re going to do something a little different. Instead of reading three articles, I’m going to talk to you about just one topic: the protests in France. For several weeks, there has been a lot of tension in the country. And today, October 17, as I’m speaking to you, there are protests all over France.

So today we’re going to see why the French are protesting, who is taking part in these protests, and why there is so much tension with the police.

Let’s go.
