Le Royaume-Uni va interdire l’accès aux réseaux sociaux aux enfants de moins de 16 ans. Le Premier ministre Keir Starmer a annoncé la nouvelle lundi. Les enfants ne seront pas autorisés à utiliser des applications comme TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Snapchat, Facebook et X. Mais ils pourront continuer à utiliser des applications de messagerie comme WhatsApp. Les nouvelles règles vont aussi empêcher les enfants de faire des vidéos en direct et de parler à des inconnus en ligne. Le gouvernement va demander au Parlement de voter sur le projet avant Noël. Si le Parlement est d’accord, les nouvelles règles vont s’appliquer au printemps 2027.
